Parking: plenty of street parking on Lachlan Street, Crystal Street and Sam Sing Street, mostly free in the evenings and overnight — and since we're open 24 hours, quieter times mean hassle-free parking. During the day you'll find short-term parking near Kennards or Coles, plus unrestricted side streets a 2–3 minute walk away. By bus: routes 301, 302, 303, 320, 370 and 355 all stop nearby on Lachlan or Bourke Street. By train: Green Square and Redfern stations are both minutes away — from Green Square, the 370 or 355 bus runs directly to Lachlan Street.

Love Wash Waterloo is a 24-hour laundromat, open 7 days a week — wash and dry anytime, morning, afternoon or late at night. The store is always bright, clean and secure, with full lighting and CCTV monitoring for your peace of mind.

Washing cycles take around 25–27 minutes depending on the machine and load. Drying takes 20–40 minutes depending on how wet your clothes are and the time you choose. Large-capacity machines handle bulky items like doonas and blankets in a single load — and being open 24/7 means you can plan your visit around your schedule.

Load your laundry, close the door, and follow the prompts on the digital screen. Pay with TangerPay: card at the kiosk, NFC/contactless or QR code at the machine, or $1/$2 coins — you can also top up a TangerPay account for multiple visits. Choose your wash temperature or dryer heat level, press START, and the timer shows the minutes remaining. We accept Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, Amex, JCB, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. No cash is kept on the premises.

Three washer sizes: 9kg (about 1–2 domestic loads), 14kg (2–4 loads) and 27kg (4–6 loads — ideal for doonas, blankets, sleeping bags and family-sized washes). Dryers offer high, medium and low heat — match the dryer to your load size, and remember dryers work best around half-full. Heavy items like towels need longer cycles.

Yes — Waterloo is our only store offering dry cleaning, for delicate and special garments. It runs Saturdays only, by appointment. Please call us on 0435 602 757 before visiting to confirm availability, pricing and drop-off.

No need — a perfectly measured dose of biodegradable, hypoallergenic, low-foam detergent is automatically injected into every wash, free of charge, leaving a subtle natural eucalyptus scent. Adding your own on top usually creates too many suds and leaves chemical residue in your laundry. The one Love Wash-approved additive is an oxy-brightener (colour-safe oxygen bleach) sprinkled over dry laundry before the cycle starts — great for stain removal and brightening whites.

Our detergent is low-foam by design — suds aren't what cleans your clothes. Calibrated pumps dispense the exact dose for your machine size and are checked every morning. Lightly loaded machines or heavier fabrics can show more or fewer bubbles from load to load — all completely normal.

Don't overload them. Dryers work most efficiently around half-full so hot air can circulate freely — that's what puts the tumble in tumble-dry. An overstuffed dryer dries slowly and costs you more. Towels and blankets take longer than light items, so add minutes for towel-heavy loads, or split heavy and light items into two dryers.
