How Do I Report a Problem at My Local Laundromat?
How to Report Problems at Your Laundromat
Good laundromats want to know about problems — a broken machine, a spill, a safety concern, or a customer who is behaving inappropriately. Reporting issues promptly helps the laundromat fix them faster and maintains the quality of the environment for everyone. Here’s how to handle different types of concerns.
Machine Faults
If a machine isn’t working properly — stopping mid-cycle, displaying an error code, not heating, or leaking — the most effective step is to tell staff immediately. At Love Wash during staffed hours, simply approach a staff member and describe the machine number and what’s happening. Outside staffed hours, contact details for the Love Wash team are displayed at each location.
If you’ve paid for a cycle that failed, always report it so you can receive a refund or credit. We don’t expect customers to absorb the cost of a faulty machine.
Cleanliness Issues
If you notice a machine that appears dirty, a spill on the floor, an unclean bathroom, or a folding table that needs attention, tell staff. These are quick fixes that they may not have had eyes on recently. A good laundromat will act on cleanliness feedback immediately.
Safety Concerns
If you see a genuine safety issue — exposed wiring, a flooding machine, a slippery floor from a spill, or a structural concern — report it immediately to staff and, if necessary, help other customers move away from the area. Don’t use a machine that appears to have a safety problem.
Difficult Interactions
If another customer is behaving in a way that makes you or others uncomfortable — whether that’s aggressive behaviour, inappropriate conduct, or persistent harassment — inform staff immediately. Love Wash staff are trained to handle these situations and are empowered to ask customers to leave the premises if necessary.
After Your Visit
Feedback that isn’t time-sensitive can also be submitted via:
- Google Reviews for your specific Love Wash location
- The contact form at lovewash.com.au
- Direct message through our social media channels
We read all feedback and use it to improve our service. If you leave a Google review mentioning a specific issue, we’ll respond — and if it’s something we can fix, we will fix it.
Why Reporting Matters
Love Wash genuinely relies on customer feedback to maintain standards across four locations. Our staff do their best, but they can’t see everything. A quick report from a customer often prevents a small issue from becoming a bigger one. We appreciate every piece of feedback we receive, even when it’s critical.
